Mahatma Gandhi was not the only politician Ambedkar had profoucnd differences with. He also disputed the policies of Jinnah and philosphy of Islam. As Head of Parliaments Select Committee, Dr. Ambedkar was instrumental in drafting the then controversial but now considered highly progressive Hindu Code bill. Buddhists love to call Dr. Ambedkar modern day Ashoka for his contemporary rennaissance of Buddhism in India.
