This Anthology of poetry has been specially designed based on the revised syllabus of the Nagaland University. It caters to the undergraduate english course for both major and general streams.The selection aims at introducing the students to the best of British, American and Indian poetry from the sisteenth century to the present.
To facilitate the understanding of students, a short biographical note is given on each poet, sketching his social milieu, intellectual influences and significance. Each poem has a detailed commentary and explanatory notes to encourage discussion.
