The revised syllabus takes a more user-friendly method of teaching and learning English rather than employing a prescriptive approach. To keep pace with the revised syllabus, suitable changes have been made in the methodology and testing pattern.
This present syllabus is an outcome of a five-year project was taken up by the board in collaboration with selective project officers to develop new learning materials and evaluation procedures for NBSE.
The Literature Reader features level-appropriate reading challenges to enhance the language competency of the students by providing ample exposure to various literary genres.
