Nagaland Board of School Education has revised its English Language Curriculum for Class XI beginning with the academic session 2012-13.
The emphasis has now been shifted to introduce a more user-friendly method of teaching and learning English rather than employing a prescriptive approach to language teaching and learning. Accordingly, changes have been made in the methodolog and testing pattern.
The Main Coursebook focuses on the real-world needs of young learners and to address their academic, linguistic, and emotional developmental gaps.
