Summary: The Prent book is critical study of the Novel and essays of one of the most powerful and perhaps the greatest ever spokesman of the Black and America, James Arthur Baldwin. An attempt has been made writer (1924-1987) against the backdrop of the imense oppression and sufferings of the Blacks, their anger and protest, the articulation of their real feelings, the diagnosis of Black-White relationship in America and creation of a new Black sensibility.
