Popular culture is a rainbow term for inter-disciplinary approach dealing with cultural milieu of both great and little tradition. It is supposed to be a collection of human documents born of experience and field work. It has a bias towards recording voices of little people unheard before. But it has no subaltern presence of deriving political mileage out of it by preaching autonomy and secession from the main body politic. It carefully avoids all kinds of Jargon and jazz.
