Human Resource Management (HRM) is a process of the management of an organisation's workforce or human resources. It is responsible for the attraction, selection, training, assessment and rewarding of employees, while also overseeing organisational leadership and culture and ensuring compliance with employment and labour laws. In circumstances where employees desire and are legally authorised to hold a collective bargaining agreement. The HR also serves as the company's primary liaison with the employees' representatives (Usually a labour union).
An organisation cannot build a good team of working professionals without good 'Human Resources'. The key functions of the human resource management (HRM) team include recruiting people, training them, performance appraisals, motivating employees as well as workplace communication, workplace safety, and much more.
The book is useful for students aspiring to become HR managers as well as management professionals who want to hone their skills. Further, it can be in management programmes conducted by universities
